Minus Drums Backing tracks

Postby deseipel » Mon Dec 20, 2010 5:41 pm

As practice tools, are there any sites that someone has experience with?

I'm really thinking about getting some from

www.soulbacks.com/

or jazzbacks.com

or the best sounding one (to me) is playalongjazz.com

anyone have a favorite?

For rock, there are lots there:

Looks like someone made mp3s from the drumless RockBand tracks. Dunno if it's legal or not (well probably not). I use a couple of them for teaching.

Check out the 'Turn It Up and Lay It Down' series of discs, they got some pretty rad stuff on there. From big R&B horn tunes to ripping double bass metal, to funky odd times.

And that's ALL top session guys to a click, so it's gold as a practice tool.
