Yup, I know of quite a few guys who apply a single strip of electrical tape around the end of a stick to add some weight to alter the balance for themselves. Damn, how much can a one inch (or less) long strip of electrical tape weigh? But it DOES make a difference.

And, "Best sticks in the world?"
And the new sticks are "unplayable?"

I finally got around to trying Vinnie's new stick, and it really is heavier near the tip than a regular 5B. I prefer the 5B, for now.



I bought a couple of pair...not really into them. I thought it was a stick that would work only for really low tunings. Had a weird vibe with how I tune my drums...
