At first I heard it in 7 but I really think it is in 13.

It's pretty commonly accepted that it's in 13. You can easily prove it's odd by tapping singles over the top of it - your lead hand changes each time it turns around.

Interesting that Fiedel himself didn't know and the loop came out that way by accident. Imagine getting the call from Mancini asking for the lead sheet and not having it! Doh!
