Buddy Rich Ludwig 15A drumstick specs?
Does anyone out there know the specs on this vintage Buddy Rich drumstick? I believe the length is 16" from what I've learned so far, but I still need the diameter? (.565?) Any help would be Great! Also, if anyone has a pair they would like sell I would be seriously interested! Thanks!

Cool looking tips, looks like the Vic white buddy rich sticks. Although I don't think I've ever seen him playing them.
Any videos of him playing he looks to be playing normal 5As with acorn tips.

Re: Buddy Rich Ludwig 15A drumstick specs?
I love the blended tips on the Vic Firth Buddy sticks. Vater has a stick called the West Side which is the exact same stick if you don't like the white finish. The Ludwig stick pictured above is the stick Vic Firth modeled his version off of. However, Vic decided the Ludwig stick was too thin and weak for the "rock" guys so they blew up the specs to make it more universal! It's a shame in my opinion! Buddy designed that stick for Ludwig, I wish they would have kept it original. I did read once that Buddy had a loose conversation with Vic not long before he passed and told him he missed that Ludwig stick and possibly wanted to remake it. I guess only Vic could confirm if that conversation took place? Anyway, would love to get my hands on a pair of these!
