This post wouldn't seem so self-promotional if it wasn't from, ya know, the makers of the drum kit.

Just saying.

Honestly, I'm not really sure what I think about that kit...but for my money, I wouldn't be going with that finish...

I like the 14 16 18. That makes sense.

You gotta be seen onstage at these big show, unless you're told not to.

Still think this gig is Simon's. ;o)

Pretty cool that Shannon is doing the three up, two down thing and in almost the same sizes that Jeff used. And all on a Pearl rack.

Is that his normal? Either way, nice tribute.

Shannon is perfect for that gig, David Hungate is on board for the summer tour too, for the all music played by Jeff is the past, Shannon will be just perfect, that's the Toto I love, that's the Toto who influenced me so much, and that's the Toto that is influences me still to this day.

The hardware ruins it for me. First the Pearl rack, which makes any kit look ugly. And second, the tom mounts are huge and in your face. I just want to see some wood, not hunks of metal. I don't care how good it sounds, its gotta look cool first.

Gear aside,
I don't think there's anyone else alive in the whole world I would rather see do this gig than Shannon.
He's the player I've enjoyed listening to the most in the last few years...

Well, I'd like to see myself with Toto, I'm a die hard fan of everything they did with Jeff, of course I'd like to see Vinnie too, some excitation can't be bad. :-)

Ok, from a distance, the rack and rims do cover up these great looking drums...
But I think the finish is perfect...

Anyway, congrats to Kelly and Co - very fitting that Shannon is on the gig, and playing Bradys... :-)
