Every time I saw William Devane I always thought of Ralph. Bless him!

RIP Ralph Humphrey. I never met the guy, but I have a lot of records that feature his work and I love his playing.
I regret not going to visit LAMA during my last visit to Socal.
The band with Ralph was my favorite Zappa lineup. Hands down. That Zappa boot Piqantique has been on regular rotation for decades.

Holy shit, that's some GREAT drumming there. Technique, musicality, phrasing... I've never heard that before and I'm pretty floored. RIP

Diving down the rabbit hole. He had a great sound to his toms, the whole kit, and super clean technique. Wow. Fast powerful hands.
I think he's under appreciated for what Yellow Snow did, popular song that got played every winter, with some killer drumming.
