And also, for those that never saw the original HOD hang video, this is from 2006. We also had the keyboards doing some funky patterns to play over.

Enrigque is a studio drummer from Mexico City. I got a chance to meet him at NAMM a few years back. A sweet fellow. He was kind enough to introduce me to J.J. Johnson as well as other drum luminaries.

Next time we're gonna have three kits set up and have Steve, Derek, and someone else trade 8s Buddy Rich Memorial Concert style. We're gonna post it on YT under the title "gospel chops" and let the kiddies wet their pants watching that ****.
I know I did watching Steve and Derek. Several times.

Holy molly, he surely made that blues exciting.
Btw one more crash and he has a Vinnie kit, he surely seems to be influenced by the master-.

THANK YOU everyone for an amazing get together and jam. I'm very honored and humbled to be a part of this group and can't wait to meet up again. Scott, Gaddabout, Steve, Derek, Danny, Chris, Matt, Isaac, Matt...You guys are amazing!! GREAT STORIES, LOTS and LOTS OF LAUGHS, TONS OF DRUMMING...What else could anyone ask for??

Good lord that seems like such a long time ago! I had some long hair going on too... good riddance!
