I think John Good and company will mostly leave Gretsch alone. I think they'd have to understand the long heritage that the company has. But like I said, maybe they could improve the functionality of the drums. I.e. hardware etc.

I'm interested to see if any DW artists change their allegiance to Sabian after the switch in distributor. I wonder if this was a factor in Virgil switching to DW?

Oh well. I'd rather see Gretsch in the hands of people who know how to grow a business than to fall into drum purgatory forever like Slingerland has. DW makes quality stuff.
Maple/gumwood/maple with roundover edges and no re-rings + inside painted silver = Grestch. Get a router table and you can make Gretsch drums too.
