Chris Slade

Sitting around having a beer thinking about drumming....

He is back in AC/DC, touring massive venues. Personally, I think Phil Rudd is a genius.

He's an unsung hero, who has always had something cool and musical going on, and always a solid player. I feel like I'm going back in time.

He doesn't have the pocket Rudd has. It's just a little off.

Love the 80s, and pillows in kicks.

Great sounding drums.

I'm not really into that 8th note pattern he's playing vs the open quarters.

He doesn't nail the AC/DC feel, but is close.

That's why Phil Rudd is a helluva player.

It's the same deal guys. Different day. Different player. Tempo might be a click or two faster. Drums sound different. Easy gig. Real easy. Boom chick. Hell of a drummer? Basic drum beats for 2+ hours.

Phil Rudd is a mess, and going nowhere fast.
