It is now streaming on Netflix. I don't think anyone will put it in their best music documentary category, but it is certainly worth a watch. Both Earl Palmer and Hal Blaine (esp.) get a lot of screen time.

To me, Matt and Steve Ferrone have a similar thing going on... Those guys are at the pinnacle of pocket playing.

I play along to it quite often, most particularly "Mistress."



Could be happy just keeping the groove on this stuff all day.
