I have a friend who has a couple Sakae kits.
I wonder why Ash left Sakae? Anyone know? What kind of Sakae kit did he used to play? Was the Sakae kit made by Yamaha? I'm sure oneof many kits had been made for Yamaha users then duplicated by Sakae and maybe Daewoo. :|

A large proportion of the UK Sakae artist roster left Sakae yesterday and signed to Gretsch.

Neal Wilkinson, Richard Jupp, Mark Richardson.

That's odd everyone moving on the same day to the same company, isn't it? What's going on there?

Who wouldn't sign with Gretsch? If there is a name in drums, right? Well, maybe not Dave or Tamarskine, but.....

I'm sure there's something to be said for the DW connection. New wrapping machine  , probably some new marketing ideas as well.

Nothing against Sakae products, though.

This is yummy!
