Wow, it is actually concerning how fat vinnie has gotten in the last year or so. That's not a good sign by any means.

I think I have given Jeff Beck a million chances to win me over.
He keeps a hell of a good company, but his playing is absolutely cold to me.
It's out of time, tune and anything else I like in music.

Vinnie has NEVER looked like that. He looks about 250 in that video.

This video is from 2009, for what it's worth.

Hmmmmmm...
I have to say that I really wasn't into Sting's performance. He normally knocks it out of the park but this was... eh.

I was trying to get into this but the groove was dragging, therefore not feeling really good.

The combination of Jeff's raw and emotive playing and the polished virtuosity of the rest of the band always seemed a bit mismatched to my ears..

Vinnie's groove/sound is very class, I enjoyed that performance.

Hi guys,
here below are all the four tracks played by the Jeff Beck Band in the 25th anniversary rock and roll hall of fame concert, Madison Square Garden, NYC - 2009/10/29&30.
I really love the way Vinnie plays here. This shows exactly why he's the giant we know, and why he played with almost every musician on the planet.
Super classy, rock solid, awesome control, everything.
But, surprise... I don't like Sting's performance. I love him, but he seems out of context in some ways.
