Does anybody out there know of a shaker you can mount like a tambourine or cowbell that you can hit with a stick?
I haven't been able to find one.

I remember Glenn Kotche talking about something like that...

There are hihat shakers out there.

PK0PZK3GZ2I'd like something that is stand alone, It would be cool if it was adjustable as well.. dial in a short or long sound. I'm really surprised no company has made one.. Or at least one I can find.

I feel like it'd need to be a soft surface to strike so you don't get the stick attack... only she sand/beads shifting around.

Yup... like rubber padded on the stick side and hard resonating plastic or metal for the rest of it..
Shouldn't be hard for a company to make one.
