I recorded this on a Pearl BCX kit with an MCX snare. It is available to download in 24bit WAV. The toms just have a bit of verb and gates with no EQ or compression. I am very happy with my birch Pearls.

Outstanding! What a mood created. Them birch Pearls were the bitch.
Snare mix killed. BD a nice flat thumper. Toms crisp and bright, cymbals
so pronounced...did you bribe the sound mix guy?

Thanks Guys!

Vishal did a great job with the levels. What I do is record at my place, then I mix down my drums to four tracks: Toms, Cymbals, Snare and bass drum. I burn effects and everything and send it out. I like reverb on the snare for rock(and everything else) I had a pretty tight gate on the kick, and aux'd to a hipass filter with heavy compression to add attack(and i think Visahl added some low bump on it). The toms just had a little verb, and some minor gates. Snare was done thru a dynamics/eq chain on top, with an aux verb from the bottom. Cymbals, I believe I used a hipass to get rid of extra low frequencies, and added compression to help with loud snare hits, since i just learned how to use a compressor this past year from a Creative Live Seminar.
I never give out raw stems if i cannot help it.
