Pretty sure Vinnie is playing with Sting. I'll confirm soon. Hopefully Manu is with Gabriel.

OMG. Imagine both bands on the stage at the same time. Vinnie+Manu. Yeah!

I feel like I read an interview with Vinnie years ago where he said that Peter Gabriel was on his short list of pop stars that he'd love to play with. Regardless, I hope this tour comes through Nashville. I'll pawn some cymbals for a ticket!
Moderation's all well and good, just don't overdo it.

Indeed Tom...the only artists Vinnie would leave LA sessions was for either
Sting or Gabriel. Peter was huge at this time. Then he gets the Sting gig
and I believe opens with Gabriel. Freaky? I say YES!

Now 25 years later a reunion...I say fire will be blazing.

Wise of these two artists to join up in today's market and let's face it,
for aging artists ala REO Speedwagon, Journey, and 38 Special or...

So I needed a specific kind of change and, thank God, I happened to get it. I'm not saying
I wanted to stop being a studio player; I just didn't want to be pigeonholed. It's funny,
because I had been thinking that it would have to be someone like Sting or Peter Gabriel
for me to leave town. Then Sting calls a couple of months later. I was so jacked up and ready for
that! Cattle call? Sure, no problem. I felt so confident because I knew that I could really relate to
that situation. A lot of guys might think, 'Yeah, well, so can I.' But can you really? You might like it,
but is your playing really on that level?
