I listened to pieces of that yesterday. Mostly old info, but the part where he talks about turning down the Genesis gig was news to me. He was offered the gig BEFORE Chester Thompson! And he turned it down....

That's a great little video, mate!

Simon is a class act, he's really got his shit together- and his drums always sound amazing.

I remember seeing him at the Baked Potato with Jeff Richman when I first moved to LA. He was playing those Bubinga drums, 3 racks, 3 floors, and 1 kick... during the break we started talking and he was annoyed at his, "gay double pedal- if you're going to play double bass, use two kicks!". His words, not mine!
