So...I know that Benny Benjamin and Larrie Londin were two of the top cats recording on Motown sessions, but were there any others that were as notable (or even less notable?).

I really love Motown...so many great, well-crafted tunes.

Larrie Londin is easily one of the most amazing drummers I've ever heard/seen live.

Good call Paul!!!
Londin KILLED on Raised on Radio...Suzanne is TIGHT...my first MD had Larrie on cover!
Recall an interview with Perry...said Larrie was the best studio drummer to play with
time...could nail any beat ahead, on top, or behind at will on this record. This is after
playing with Smith for years!

Larrie Londin - drums, percussion
Steve Smith - drums on tracks 2, 10 and 11.

Give me Larrie's skills and technique any day over being able to whip around the kit.

I was thinking of all the personalities he encountered through the years watching those clinic vids...all people at the very top level, who were making serious money for people and under the microscope business wise and product wise.

Wish he was still around!
