Matt's grooves always feel great.. And he seems to be working with really interesting musicians/songwriters. I envy the guy!

Matt's great, and a prime example of how having a nice, easy-going personality coupled with a sense of humor helps in your musical career. And it's natural for him- he doesn't have to try to be something he's not.

I had the privelage to see him play with Tori Amos a couple of years ago and have agin this November. Can't wait. What instantly struck me is his sound. He sounds AMAZING. Those Craviottos and Istanbuls sound outrageous...and he can dig a groove soooo deep.

I always prefer guys who play things that make me say "why didn't I think of that?" as opposed to ones that make me say "how'd they do that?"... Matt is in the first category for me.
