Been searching for a long time.
Seems like a real hole in the market, but maybe noone else cares? I generally find the screw on type a pain. I don't have one, but when I go to a school they're always broken.
I remember having 2 stands from Basix at work with an extra section, but they seem out of production.
My own solution now has been using the Roland stands with the big square base( made for Handsonics and stuff) and just add my own wood base. Screwed one on, but poster tack works fine, too. Sort of works at home, but it's heavy.
Last night I came across a stand from Offworld which now is out of production. Luckily that took me to the Lone Star Percussion site and they sell their own. http://www.lonestarpercussion.com/Stands-Hardware/Practice-Pad-Stands/Lone-Star-Percussion-APPS2-APPS2-Practice-Pad-Stand.html
Not the cheapest, but hopefully good quality.
Anyone know about other stands of the type? Seems like none of the major brands make one.
Dual height pad/snare stands.
