This drummer is so good. He has so much going on and he played with Herbie Hancock way back in 2006. Here he is playing Actual Proof with Herbie Hancock and Matthew Garrison.

wikipedia says this guy was born in 1983. So... let's see..... at the time of this concert in 2006 when he was absolutely shredding with Herbie..... HE WAS 23 YEARS OLD..........

Wow.......... I'm blown away

Yeah, I recently met him and started talking about deer and nature and didn't realize he was so involved in environmental conservation (based off some YouTube videos he had made). He also has played with Chick Corea and regularly plays with Esperanza Spalding. He plays tabla, Latin percussion and anything percussion (including teaching kids - body percussion and has been seen playing bamboo trunks in the jungles around the world).
He also plays with the Klezmatics as well. His parents must have really nurtured him since he was so informed early on.
I was surprised how laid back he is. Kind of a young Steve Gadd of today.
Don't sleep on this guy... He has something of a modern classic. Real natural dude.
