John Abercrombie R.I.P.

I just read that the great John Abercrombie passed away...very sad news.

What sublime touch Peter has..... that's one of my favorite all time instructional videos. Love his sound, ideas, etc....

Big loss, Abercrombie was a great player.

One of my most intense listening experiences was putting Timeless on and relaxing and just listening. He touched on a lot of themes and phrases that worked well with Jack's intellect. The later music with Peter is a gold mine of heady music. Samurai Hee Haw. Heard it on the Detroit NPR station one afternoon. Almost drove off the road.
