If this thread Jim Richman has created is the RIP musician thread, and we have a lot of great people passing on, here is one. Not everyone is into Can, he was a main dude in that band. Euro music in the 70s is fascinating.

Thank you so very, very much, guys <3

My dad was a bass player and the number one reason I got my first drumkit when I was seven years old.
Today we had his funeral which was incredibly hard, beautiful and packed with music.
Here he is, as remembered by one of my parents' best friends, graphic designer Susanne Koefoed

We played for him one last time, me and my friends from Mads Mathias' quartet, my childhood friend Morten was
playing my dad's old bass, named 'Ansjovis' (Anchovies). Ansjovis is 100 years old in 2020 <3

The kit I am playing is my Trowa kit, the very first kit I ever got as a 7-year old.

What a weird post to put on a drumming forum. Odd.

I agree. But I was here, and there were several threads with RIP on the end. It seemed like the only new threads were when drummers passed, and there were a lot in the past month or so. So i suggested to put them in one thread. Maybe i should have explained it more?

One of the most unique careers as a musician...he always seemed relevant since 1978!
Saw Tom in HS on the Refugee Tour...always seemed to reinvent his sound...

RIP for the 58 dead in Vegas and hope for the 500 plus injured from a senseless slaughter
of souls at a country gig! Ineffable...

He sounded strong as ever at his last show. Life is just strange...
