Makes me think about what I paid for that collection of Pustjens sigs. They last forever, but to be fair they've only ever seen a snare drum head or pad. I'm so cheap that when I had to hit a crash once I picked up the old worn pair of Gauger #16 just for that, which as a side note is a shame they don't make anymore. The Gaugers btw are maple and are at least 6-7 years old. I actually got them used from a friend. They don't look new as they're a bit dirty, but no chipping, just some small rim shot dents.
