Kaide...your hat hits sound so much better than the record!
Mastering on Bump City did no favors to DG's open hats!
His snare was unusually flat as well (compare to the tune
Dont Change Horses...) liked the needed POP
As usual...nailed EVERY detail w/t same relaxed vibe making
it look so easy

Yeah, those open hats are very loud on the original recording and the snare is also tuned very low. Thanks again :)

There are going to be every week for a while so I hope this isn't getting spammy. I'm about half way through the book at this point.
For this middle section I'm busting out the bop kit featuring a near pristine 22" Zildjian New Stamp (my "once in a lifetime craigslist deal").

Thanks! It's a parts drum. 6-ply keller with old CB Percussion hardware and Gibraltar wood hoops.
