Yummy... :)

Just 5". Bought it in 2013 along with my hammered brass from DCP.

Use it quite a bit.

I did adjust my tent and dry off the goo after I took the pic. :)

Dear Lord, am I really so slow, that I just now realised that Steve Holmes' avatar is because he is the 'House' of Drumming?

I'm not sure of much in this case. I mean, if true (the pun or whatever) I should have picked it up several years ago. MAN! I am dumb. Steve, please chime in!

What I do know is that the only Black Friday I need, is this one:

I'm just a fan of the show, the "House" of drumming part is coincidence.
I was tempted to take the credit but alas. I should change the avatar anyways.

Chatty used to be a what weære working on an listening to type of thing. I'm updating my routine.

Nothing really changes much for me anymore because what I've been working on pretty much defines my vocabulary and I really just want to be more fluent and then I practice in the way they'll actually be used by me in context on the kit.

Frankly, just deciding to work on everything on the Xymox, the Moongel pad and then with brushes has made the biggest difference because I'm not limited by surface and as long as I keep those chops up I can be creative because I can do what I want.

I feel like a bit of a change today though, so I decided just to put my standard stuff away and forcemyesel to do something new.

1) I dug up the Master Studies books and will just stick with those for a while.

2) In addition I'll work on the Weckl stuff from his intensive many years ago which is basically any hand foot combination in triplets and sixteenths over any hi-hat foot ostanato. Never really decided to work on only one thing like that so specificlly, but I believe it will be productive right now.

3) Third is just to finally sit down and work specifically on overriding stickings in 5 and 7. Back in the days of the marathon routine they never got that much attention.

This will be the thing for a while before I go back and round everything off with whatever I'm left with after doing this for a while.
