Yes! That whole album is amazing, even the ballads.

You know what's crazy? He's playing Ludwig Vistalites with the bottom heads removed, and the mics up inside the shells. They spent three days getting drum sounds. I think it was time well spent. :D

I knew about the bottom heads removed, I did not know it was a Ludwig Vistalites.

I know that they were recording that album during the day, and by night Vince was recording that great Pages album, or the opposite. :D

Prior to Vinnie, outside of Manu, Jean-Paul Ceccarelli did a fantastic job (not least with a Vinnie-esque cross stick)
