One of our own, Mark Griffith, put out a really first class recording with some jazz luminaries
backing him up (DRUMATIC--2000). I just gave a listen again, and it's still inspiring!! I tried to find it on
YT so you could give a listen, but could only find it on Amazon.
All 10 compositions are drummer composed----Ralph Peterson, DeJohnette, Best, Tony W.,
Motian, Lewis, Joe Chambers, Chick Webb and Mark Griffith.
