Although there are plenty of other drummers that could be on that list, I can't quibble with those they decided to put on it...which is more than I can say for the dumb lists that many drum magazines generate...

I couldn't think of a better Top 10.
Quite spot on.

Yeah not a bad list, I would need to see Billy Cobham though.
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

They forgot to add Joey and Travis.

On a serious note. Its hard for me to imagine a top 10 list without Virgil. I really think DiCenso is incredible as well. More so then some of the giants on that list imho.

I would take Bonham off and put Erskoman.

Bonham definitely belongs on the list. Sure, there's a ton of guys over the years who were/are more technically proficient, but he had the groove, sound and presence to make an everlasting imprint on rock and contemporary music that i would've thought was pretty much unquestionable. To be honest, i would have been a bit appalled if he wasn't included on the list.

If it's "just" about the drumming (boring...) sure you could add Virgil or DiCenso, but the question we have to think is : what these did bring to the music industry ? Not that much...

They are great drummers/musicians, but their discography, their impact on the music industry is too minor, don't you think so ?
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...
