Tain is in the house this year! Nice to see, not a lot of video of him out there.I never saw last years, any one know if the master classes are included in the video? John Riley never disappoints.

Line up so far:

Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez
Aquiles Priester
Gil Sharone
Trevor Lawrence jr.
Jeff "Tain" Watts

master classes:

John Riley
Jim Riley

The master classes are on the MDFest2010 DVD, but they are pretty much plugs for both artists respective books & DVDs. Chris Coleman still kicks it though.
The Tain & John Riley combo is a winner for me. Be very interested to see what they'll be presenting.

Oh and - while we're on the subject - could anyone recommend a good starting point for a Tain record or two? Been sorely meaning to check out more of him over the past year or two but still haven't gotten around to it :( (I know, for SHAAAME)

Man, now you have to point me back to it, because I can't remember being that funny!

Question: Did you ever hear Jason Marsalis' first CD, Year of the Drummer? You're so into Watts, I thought you'd like it, too. Honestly, his composition skills exceeded his drumming. All the songs are so wonderful to just listen to without straining one's ear for the drums.
