DC area gig: Mychael Pollard at Twins, 2/20/2011

Greetings Music Lovers:

A gentle reminder that Mychael Pollard’s rocking post adolescent combo will be at Twin’s Jazz, 1310 U St NW, in DC this coming Sunday night from 8 until. We’re doing 2 sets of mostly original material (with some Zappa and Nascimento thrown in), and a fair amount of that unrepentedly of the prog persuasion.

The band includes Mychael on keys, Dokun Oke’ on guitar, Mark Foster on bass and myself on kit. Fast ears and active imaginations, prisoners not taken.

Monday is a federal holiday, so some of us might be able to sleep in Monday morning, if the day gig is normally an issue.
