That one was absolutely killer, too, Sting won't go with anything less than the best. I guess it's a matter of taste, the 4 piece band does it for me, as each musician does his thing with very few but great notes, leaving more space for improvisation. With the Blue Turtles band, Branford Marsalis filled most of those spaces IMO. And he was great at that, but the smaller group leaves more room for the talent to shine through.
