Fire in my building last night

An electrical fire destroyed an office on the 1st floor of my apartment building last night at around 11 as I was going to bed. I smelled smoke and was violently ill. Elevators weren't working, so while choking I descended 8 flights and went outside. The whole place was surrounded by fire trucks, ambulances. The entire building was filled with smoke and I couldn't see. Luckily, I am ok, and no one was seriously injured. I have been sick this morning, but am feeling better now. That whole experience was way uncool and I hope to never deal with that again...
