Drum Fantasy Camp '11

Postby Steven Orkin » Tue Mar 01, 2011 8:03 am

Just wanted to let you all know that registration is now open for the 2011 Drum Fantasy camp (our fifth year!)

This year's instructors include: Chris Coleman, Peter Erskine, Steve Smith, and Dave Weckl. We'll be adding at least one more instructor soon.

The camp takes place August 11-15 at the Hyatt Hotel and House of Blues in Cleveland. August 11 is a group clinic and concert (band TBA). August 12, 13, 14, and 15 include two master classes per day (15 to a class), plus jams in the evening. Chrissi Poland, Baron Browne, and Vinny Valentino will run the jams.

More info and a video from last year at http://www.drumfantasycamp.com

Hope to see some of you there!

That seems very reasonable for the price too!

Hey Steve, I'm getting ready to book my stay. I was just curious, are recorders allowed during the camp, such as a flip video camera? I would really like to document all the things learned while attending. Also, thanks for putting together such a great lineup of instructors this year. Looking forward to it!

Dave D. is a great idea. So many great drummers out there! I ask LOTS of drummers at NAMM and, depending on schedules, we get down to the final lineup.

Other suggestions?
