enzo is a cool guy. a tad reserved but cool to hang with. loved all the live stuff he's done with Gino V. got to hang with him a lot at MI. 1993... seems like yesterday

Class of Sept. 85, I believe; I was in the concurrently running class of March 86. The trick was to grab a lab next to his and soak in it like the sun.

I could be a year off. I'm older than I like to think.

Enzo was a BEAST in 93-94. He's still around too. Pretty amazing player.

Cool, love Enzo!

I'm happy to see that he doesn't use double-kick.
We play a version inspired by the Live in Montreal. I cop a bit of of Enzo's stuff and use some double-kick; but seeing him use floor tom to kinda emulate a 2nd kick is inspiring.
I'm on the verge to throw away that double-pedal which I find more and more useless.

Here's Enzo's fills in Bro2Bro from another angle. I think I remember a thread in the old brown forums where we discussed those fills and stickings...

So, what hapened to him ? From that GREAT work with Vanelli, it was not possible for him to build a better career ? I mean, he's maybe happy with what he does now, I don't know what he does, but he's not under the radar anymore, am I wrong ?

Vanelli Live is a great album, Enzo plays AWESOME on it, respect.

I ran into Enzo last year while he was playing a gig at the now closed Spazio in Sherman Oaks. We hung out at the bar and chatted a bit. I don't know if he's doing any big tours, but he's also a fantastic photographer.

I agree Rodge. He obviously has the skills and talent to be much higher profile than he seems to be today.

That's some pretty cool stuff. I hear a lot of "vinnie" phrases in there, a lot. Guy is tearing it up for sure though.
