A lot of these players are also in Jazz Mafia. They're really making a super hip scene in the Bay, and Harland is in the middle of all of it (though not in this clip -- this is the touring band). San Francisco might be the place to be right now to hook up with some players and play some interesting new music.

He's sooooooooo bad. Like, Mike Jackson bad. You know? For serious. He's one of the dudes. You like jazz drumming? Harland does it. Not better... but differently than, say, Art Blakey. Dig.
