Amazing…Weckl is 100% on the melody, like ALL the time. That's what sets Horacio apart as well. That fluid feel comes from anything but 'calculated hyper intelligent rhythms' like most drumgods seem to do. At some point Weckl could be the greatest who ever set down behind a set of drums. Beautiful music. He never bangs a drum or cymbal, he seems to hug his instrument.

I wish more guitarists had the groove that Oz possesses. There's such a deep understanding of pocket coming from all of the musicians in that video and it's refreshing to see nobody blowing chops all over the place. The "chops" that they display are much more musical and at the same time difficult to attain IMO

I couldn't agree more...what I like to call "cerebral chops." It's not the obvious, in your face 128th note triplet flurry. It's the subtle harmonic, melodic or rhythmic twist that's so out there it can elicit a "holy fuck" response.

EDIT: It´s not so new. As amoergosum said, Kurtis posted it some pages ago.
I understand now why it was familiar to me... :P

A little taste of the Dave Acoustic Band.
Looking forward to the official video of this performance (night 2) that Lucas is working on.

This acoustic band seems to be amazing. A new record maybe?
