Louie is amazing. He's got that thing (ahem, technique) that I'd like to get to. Honestly, Steve Holmes and Rodge Biwandu have it as well. As I get older, I try not to compare myself to people and just embrace me being me, but these kind of guys make me jealous that I didn't practice more when I could have. But, such is life!
Moderation's all well and good, just don't overdo it.

Tom my man, you have a great technique, you have a great pocket, tempo, you hit hard and you have that "animal" thing that I love so much, you have all good reason to embrace who you are my friend. ;)

My technique looks really better that what it really is, I'm a crook !!! :-)

But yeah, Louie and Steve are underrated killer !!!
I like Louie clean playing and sound.
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...
