Not sure many remember Zach Alford. John DeChristopher did a podcast with him. He is KILLER. Love how he plays. Hard hitter, he brought it.

Who doesn't love Gadd? Jan can play a lot, though. He's not a Gadd copycat by trade.

Very interesting interview with Josh Freese. Apart from obviously being a great drummer, he's got a big personality. No doubt one of the reasons Foo Fighters wanted him because apparently Taylor Hawkins was a big personality. Some interesting stories about his session days, such as being asked to re-record songs that other drummers didn't really nail, some talk about Jeff, and quite a few mentions of Vinnie including working with Sting and the pressure of knowing that was Vinnie's gig and a lot of Vinnie's drum parts. I like how he describes Vinnie's parts as 'expensive'. I think that's cool, it's an appropriate description to think of Vinnie's drum parts as the musical equivalent of a Rolex or Bentley.
