Assorted videos / YouTube thread

Postby amoergosum » Tue Apr 12, 2011 12:09 am

We had a great thread about YouTube musicians on the old forum.

Some of them go on to become famous - others stay on
YouTube and still entertain thousands of people."

Jimmy K is probably my favourite "Youtube drummer". Comes up with some really nice ideas and is a great player. Awesome!

That was Bozzio-esque, but with 1/3rd the pretentiousness and four times the fun. Lots of clever and interesting phrasings and ostinatos, and I generally dislike ostinatos.

Those floor toms sound awesome for a nesting kit!
“Let's try some of my songs.” Dave Grohl, top sign drummer will be fired.

Assorted Video Clips

Hey guys,

We don't have a youtube video sticky thread yet as we did on the old forums. Maybe this can be made sticky again so we don't have to start a new thread for every new video that someone wants to share?

I'm partial to just having one thread for all youtube videos, but amoergosum wants to keep his thread specifically to discuss "youtube musicians" so post any other videos that wouldn't fall under that category on here.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone can dig up!
