New Haken album is very good. I don't typically like this type of prog rock. Gonna go see them in Pomona CA in a few weeks. I know lots and lots of prog rock fans so it helps the cause.

A friend of mine is a huge fan. That music is technically somewhat interesting, for a little bit, but monotonous. Where is the air.

Morgenthaler , I sometimes get to play with Henrik, the bass player, I've known him since his teens, awesome feeling having him on the side, like riding a freight train in the time domain if you know what I mean, same inertia, he has like a muscle memory in time, "absolute time", he can nail any tempo without looking at the metronome, awesome

Mick Fleetwood is a master of shading a pop song. And he still brings the power.

Yup. Just an incredible player. I can't really think of a single drummer with such a unique style as Spaven. I can't really figure out anything he's playing but I don't care, it's just so beautiful, flowing and effortless.

Checked out Erik's channel. Aparently he did a Brecker tribute recently. Mr. Guillermont is on there, too. That thing with Ranjit, Bill and Etienne is certainly one of my favourites up the with the live version of Raju.

Never been that much into the Brecker Bros, but always enjoyed to intro when the band comes in of Straphangin'.
