Hi Rudy, "interesting" is a very interesting word. Where one listener can say "wow", other can press "stop" after a few bars. This happens for example in every page of this topic or any tune/video we are exposed. I'm not talking about Teddy Campbell video you posted, just in general.
That Steve Wonder rehearshal video that I posted has some things that keep me hooked: grace, groove, punch, cool arrangements (Teddy is plenty of that)...and a great song. Of course, tastes is a very interesting word too.
Cheers mate.

Heard this great Robert Glasper piece today. Someone on a drum forum wanted help on how it's counted so I mapped it out. Might be of interest to anyone here who likes the song and wants to play it.

KNOWER...love that band.

They were the support act for the Red Hot Chili Peppers this year!

KNOWER is a very recent find for me... Lots of solid bands out there!!

Bozzio's singles-tom-fills have always been an inspiration... My favorite Bozzio era for sure... Don't care too much about his solo stuff he does these days...

His roto-toms sounds sweet here...

Beat...I went out and looked high and low for a roto tom kit because of the TB!
LOVED that sound...reminds me of high school and those rotos cutting through the
hallways from the football field practice...that was life back then! Terry with
Frank was the rage back then...not Peart...he was one of those "beyond the
mere mortals of drumming" guys that commanded awe and respect...you remember
arguing in HS..."yeah but he's not Bozzio!" to conclude any argument.
