Great playing and unbelievable drum sound. Wow. Those sounded outstanding. Nice phrasing, too. On that first one I just wanted him to get beyond the triplet afterwhile. LOL Wecklitis.

This is one of the things I love about YouTube. You get to see all these cats around the world who've been touched by Dave Weckl, who revolutionized drum education. Now we have a ton of players who have a good portion of Weckl's vocabulary down, but they bring their own culture and influences to it. I'd love to hear Ezeuqiel in 10 years when he's expanded his own vocabulary. I love how Kiko Freitas has 'Brazilianized' his Wecklisms!

I've watched this second one several times now and I don't believe he really lets go and just plays until about 2:55. It's when I felt he had gotten all of his influence reference points out of the way and started being himself. It's really beautiful at that point, just lovely playing, and I love his approach to the techno tune.

I've got him earmarked as a player to watch now. Climbing my charts!

Yeah, he´s a monster player.
The thing that stand out the most to me is how locked he is all the time...
Flawless technique, great sound and amazing pocket...

Crazy good. Great control dynamically.
The drums sound great as well, I was ready to pay DW a compliment for a change, then I saw they were another company. I wasn't surprised.

Thank you for posting that!
Great stuff .. amazing how he locks with the groove in that first video.
It would be cool to hear him in a groove oriented band project.
