This is the song I told Simon that its intro seems to be a cover of Toto "Waiting for your love".
I couldn´t remember the Toto title in that moment talking with Simon.
I relate the first three intro chords of the tune with Toto´s one.
Anyway, sweet tune...

8 lugs on the bass drums, as there should be!

Mmm, that´s cool but the music in that clip is kind of dull... There´s no fire or sparks. Would love to see Simon pushing Hiromi and the piece a little harder... (My deepest respect to Simon, just saying...)

New video.
The tune is a little (/·H*?&%$)/)&&.
I think I don´t like Anthony Jackson´s tone/sound in this band: tooooo looooowwwww for me.

Simon generates such cool, creative and angular fills. So original. So good...
He really is one of the greats.

This is fantastic, amazing playing all round. Yeah Simon is right up there, he's got his licks, and like Gadd uses them a lot but damn the way he uses them is so musical.
Ugly composition? Which notes didn't you like?

Hello percusski,
of course this is personal taste.
I just don´t like the tune. Not even a single note: I mean melody and chords.
I am not talking about the time signatures (a little forced for me here), it´s just the NOTES.
I find the tune like a bunch of piano rhythm riffs, and played with notes I don´t like.
It´s what I call ugly.
Maybe (well, without the maybe) I´m not a fan of Hiromi music. Only 2-3 tunes I can say I like it.
Note: I gave it a second listen.

I really like this performance and song!!!
I still cannot figure out how Hiromi's hands stay in one piece.
