I've been going through (even more than usual) a Dave Di Censo phase in my listening recently and just this morning came across this:

I love it! Thanks! I watched it this morning and like the examples in his book I couldn't get his barking like a drill sergeant out of my head. Dave is one of few guys that oozes with feel, has great ideas and can teach as well as he plays.

His book is bad ass.. It encompasses everything.... For me the challenge is in the accents,.. It's very deceptive, easy to learn but hard to master..

the book is very good. its very challenging. the voice piece of it is the killer for me. I imagine that once you get going on it, it's not too bad. I don't buy a lot of books, but this is maybe the only one that really made this point: you could pick a one bar phrase of a simple rhythm and really make it your own by adding/subtracting/mutating. And it's really the accents that make the phrase.

He's one of my favorites for sure. Massive massive feel.
