Was this recent, the recording? I would love to find a copy of the live dvd, they did a couple of years ago...Eric is one of my favorites and Stefon...whew! I kind of find the arrangement a bit heavy handed...tedious. ????

I think it's really hard to stay in a pocket playing this kind of groove because there's no real reference to a quarter note. You have to be real measured on those grace notes. Good stuff from Harland here. Groovy.
