One of the greatest rock(and beyond) drummers of all time. He brought back a kind of a jazz sensibility to rock drumming, and refused to be the same ol' boring 2&4 guy with stock fills. You could tell he was such an important part of Smashing Pumpkins when they replaced him with Aronoff. No offense to Kenny, he's great, but Chamberlin just had that right vibe.

I wish I knew who Billy Corgan was trying to imitate when he sings, I've never cared for it.

AFAIK Aranoff toured and that's it. Did he do any albums?

He only toured with The Smashing Pumpkins (Adore Tour 1998).

I'm not too familiar with The Smashing, but I'm a HUGE fan of Complex, great stuff.
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

I love Jimmy's playing. His stuff with SmashingPumpkins is awesome, the MCATIF double album is pure class, beautiful creative playing.
