Ha DSOP dude definitely post pics when the dots arrive!
Tony plays great on here! Don't really agree with his "not playing trad grip = not playing the black keys on the piano". WillyZ this is the vid you brought to the first HoD hang at Dannys I believe.

For sure! I haven't used black dots in about 30 years, and I have NEVER had them on both sides of the drum. Should be interesting...

I read an article once that Chad Smith was saying he was never sure why TW played B. Dots on tops and bottoms. It could have something to do with the fact that TW mounted his rack toms upside down. You can see the mounts on the bottom of the drums...:)

Sure is! I haven't watched it in a while, may have to bust it out. Tony never fails to amaze and inspire.

Yeah his metaphor is not very good, and I prefer to let the rebond do the work instead of making up the drumstick with my wrist, too much work, having said that his power and speed are phenomena !!! :o
