I just wanted to share a few new clips from my upcoming dvd that producer/director Brian Brodeur has up on his youtube channel for NYDVD. These were part of a promotional "teaser" dvd put together for Paiste for the Montreal Drum Festival. Fingers crossed, the full dvd is currently targeted for release through Alfred Publishing by the holidays. I'm really excited about it and hope that you enjoy them! Please let me know what you think. Hopefully, I'm able to embed them correctly. Apologies in advance...I'm still a bit technically challenged in this department!

Haha, I saw these last night on drummerworld! I was going to post today to see if anyone else had checked them out yet; it looks like it's going to be an awesome video!

Tobias, wonderful playing as always! I look forward to your new DVD. I met you many moons ago at Berklee. You were the first person to introduce me to Tempus drums back then and The Al Jarreau album Breakin' Away when I met you in the practice rooms there. Best of luck to you!

Hello-

I've been out of the loop for a bit and finally got a chance to get back onto HoD. Jeeze -I've missed a lot!

First of all, thank you so much for all of the really nice and positive thoughts about my DVD. I'm very much looking forward to it. Unfortuantely, there's has been another slight delay with the release date. It's a bit disappointing to me, but all that matters is that it comes out. I know that it will be worth the wait. I keep telling myself that the right timing is everything.

Amoergosum-
I'm not sure if it will be released on Blu-ray or not, but I hope so! That's something that Brian Brodeur will work out directly with Alfred. I'll let you know when I find out.

Wow! We go all the way back to the Berklee days? You know, sometimes my time there feels like a big blur, but I seriously wish that I had the time to practice the way I did when I was there! Thanks so much for reaching out to me and for your kind words.

So, you saw the clips on Drummerworld? That's great! I really didn't think anyone had seen my page up on Drummerworld yet. Bernhard very kindly gave me a page on his prestigious website in mid-November. Naturally, I'm majorly thrilled to be included on it. We're still adding photos and videos to the page, but it's coming together nicely. Thanks for mentioning it on HoD- I appreciate it. I hope that more people will check it out.

Thanks for publicly saying that you'd buy my DVD when Alfred releases it! That's really nice of you. I can only hope that other people will feel the same way! This DVD is something that I've been wanting to do for a while and finally all the elements came together at the right time.

I'll definitely keep everyone posted on the release date. Thanks again for all the support.

I just checked the video links (takes me a while sometimes since YouTube is blocked here, I forget to check, and so on). Very nice playing, Tobias! Inspiring, makes me want to practice. Great flow of ideas. I'll be looking for the DVD, too.
