RIP to one of the innovators.

And RIP to Roberto Spizzichino, one of the great cymbalsmiths. I don't have any details.

Motian is one of all-time favorites. I only saw him in September in New York. Now I understand why he played so sparingly that night. What a genius. What a contribution. Very sad news indeed. May he rest in peace.
