that's really sad news - and Roberto Spizzichino (the brilliant Italian Cymbalsmith) died too.

Motian is one of all-time favorites. I only saw him in September in New York. Now I understand why he played so sparingly that night. What a genius. What a contribution. Very sad news indeed. May he rest in peace.
